Farage Proved Cleggers wrong AGAIN! If only the Media would tell People.
You probably heard a bit of Farage’s speech to the EU (or at least heard about it). That is, you heard the bits the BBC want you to hear. For example, you probably heard him talking about Brexit the EU – you know, the everyday politics of this era. But you almost certainly didn’t hear the most important part of his speech – the EU army. Farage very accurately predicted that the EU would try to introduce its own military force back in the 2014 EU debates with Nick Clegg (Cleggers, in case you hadn’t already guessed).
Now while Jean-Claude Junker didn’t specifically call for an EU army, he did call for “common military assets, in some cases owned by the EU”. That sounds like an EU army to me. A common military is possibly one of the worst things that could be done to our great nation and its people. The EU has been trying to intimidate us for years now, but this is the final straw. Because we all know that his final aim to start a load of ‘peace operations’. After all, peace operations have worked great before – just look at Iraq and Libya! So not only would Britain be forced to go to war, destabilising other countries, as well as losing potentially thousands of British lives, but we would be made to pay for the whole mess! I am firmly a libertarian, which means I believe in powers being spread out as much as possible, to increase democracy and to save as much taxpayers’ money as possible. This EU army is everything I stand against globalism, unneeded military Intervention and ignoring democracy. Had the vote been the other way around – 52% voted to remain and the lies and horror stories of project fear had worked, we would be sat here today reading this news and knowing that everything I have just described was going to happen. And that it was exactly what we had said would happen. And thank God we aren’t sat there.
And this brings another question into the picture. Is our political class really representing the ordinary people anymore? All you have to do to find this out is to look at which parts of the country voted to leave. The biggest leave vote came from the North East, Labour’s last stronghold. But out of 230 MPs, only 12 backed leave. And the reason for this is purely because of how much they lie. And who is worse for that than Nick Clegg? First tuition fees, now the EU army. What next?
And finally, just to humour you a little; Nick Clegg making an apology on another of his lies:
