Austrian President Says Soon All Women Will Be Asked To Wear Headscarves

Austrian President says soon all women will be asked to wear headscarves.

This was mentioned during a discussion round, in the House of The European Union in Vienna. Alexander Van der Bellen, the Austrian president, is the 12th President of Austria since the 26th January 2017.

During the discussion round (which was in German) he mentioned that Islamic women should be able to wear what they want. He added to this that not only Muslim women should be able to wear a headscarf, but any woman.

Austrian president, Alexander van alexander Van der Bellen.

The politician then mentioned that if the “islamophobia” continues, then the day will come where ALL women will need to wear a headscarf.

During the discussion, Alexander Van der Bellen emphasised the word “all”.

The reason for this comment, he mentions, is due to “solidarity” towards women who wear the scarf for religious reasons.

Luckily for all of us, we are not the only ones outraged by this disgusting comment.

ALL Women

After the discussion round, many took to social media to express their anger and frustration.

AFD member Beatrix von Storch, said:
With respect, Mr President, but not even you can mean that seriously. Why not the other way around? To adapt to our culture: Headscarf ban?

Another twitter user added:
When will I be “requested”, out of “solidarity” to marry my 14 year-old cousin and stick her under a burka?

What the politician refuses to accept however, is that he will not be forced to wear any sort of Islamic headdress any time soon. What he also refuses to accept, is that the concept of covering your head is not strictly mentioned in the Quran.

Who are they standing in solidarity for?

Who stands in solidarity with Aqsa Parvez, whose Muslim father choked her to death with her hijab after she refused to wear it?

Who stands in solidarity for the rest of the women who are threatened with covering themselves, due to a belief that they do not follow?
