The UKIP Fightback Begins!
The first few weeks of this election campaign have been painful for us in UKIP – with polls putting us at 3% as the Tories take huge swathes of our supporters by persuading them that somehow they will push through a hard Brexit, despite supporting the Lords, campaigning against Brexit and refusing to rule out a ‘Brexit Bill’. However, more recently the debate has been shifting away from Brexit onto another of UKIP’s most supported stances – terrorism, security & Islam.
Clearly, this is as a result of the awful Manchester bombing, which was an event that must be treated with caution when making political points. But to suggest we shouldn’t politicise it is mad. It became political when one ideology set out to kill everyone who disagreed with it – namely radical Islam. It became political when the politicians had the full details of the man who carried out the attack and knew what he was willing and capable of doing, and did nothing to stop him. Our politicians have the power to save lives and are simply ignoring that power.
However, there is one party that is offering solutions. One party that is not afraid to call out radical Islam for the evil it is. That party is UKIP. People are recognising that enough is enough and we have be strong and defend our way of life from this evil and they are intelligent enough to realise that ukip is the only party offering that option.
If UKIP continue to push this issue and show their radical but effective solutions to terrorism, I’ve no doubt they will win seats in this election and that the ukip poll ratings will rise very quickly.
If you disagree with me and think another party has a better solution to terrorism, you may wish to look at the other party’s policies. UKIP is proposing a bold agenda including banning Saudi-funded mosques, banning the burqa and refusing to allow in any known radical Islamists from countries like Libya and Syria. This on top of 20,000 extra police officers and increased border controls and social attitude tests for immigrants will ensure that Britain is once again a safe place to live.
However, Labour’s solution is to blame ourselves and to talk to mums (yes, really). They refuse to mention the word “Islam” in relation to terror and most of the leadership had links to the IRA. If you think that is the solution then you’re a little bit deluded, to be frank.
The Conservatives are often seen to be tough on crime and security but this is far from the truth. They presided over huge cuts to the police, the highest levels of immigration this country has ever seen and the failure to prosecute a single case of female genital mutilation, despite knowing about thousands. And let’s not forget who ran government when Salman Abedi (who carried out the Manchester bombing) was reported for extremism and travelled to (and returned from) Libya several times) – the Tories. They have failed the people of Manchester, of Rotherham, of Westminster and every single person in this country.
Who do you trust to keep Britain safe? I trust UKIP and I believe many people do, which will be the kickstarter for a UKIP fightback. To misquote Bruno Mars, don’t believe me? Just watch!
