Kipper Central to Merge with Alt-politics.com Next Month
Today is Kipper Central’s 1st birthday, and to celebrate we wanted to do something HUGE. That’s why we’ve put into progress the biggest change to Kipper Central since we began on this day a year ago!
Kipper Central is officially to merge with Alt-politics.com to make Kipper Central into the number one UKIP community site on the web!
Westmonster Dave, the owner/founder of Alt-politics.com will become Kipper Central’s News Editor and he will post very regularly on news relating to UKIP and politics in general. If you haven’t already seen the great work he’s done on his site, head over there right away and have a look – it’s truly brilliant stuff.
All posts on Alt-politics.com will be moved over to Kipper Central, and anybody who clicks on an old link will be redirected to the correct page on our site. This will ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible and that it will work very well for both websites.
We will be officially merging on August 11th, from which point Kipper Central will be your one-stop shop for the latest UKIP news, opinion and discussion. Until then, both sites will continue as per usual and you’ll have to keep an eye on both to get your UKIP, Brexit and political content.
Reece Coombes, Kipper Central’s owner & founder, said “There are so many great people in UKIP with a message to get out and I see my job as providing a platform for all of the different views in the party, and informing members of what’s going on. I’m really excited about this merger and I hope you all are too. Kipper Central is about to get a hell of a lot better! ”
Westmonster Dave, Alt-politics.com’s owner & founder, said “When we started alt-politics.com our aim wasn’t to be precious about our stories, or trying to build a brand, we simply wanted the widest possible exposure to the stories and ideas that are being ignored by the mainstream media but which more and more are resonating with the wider public. This merger provides us with a perfect opportunity to do that and, on a personal level, I would like to thank the team at Kipper Central for showing faith in me by appointing me as their new News Editor. Both sites have experienced rapid growth recently and our aim now is to make Kipper Central the ‘go to site’ for all the latest news not just from UKIP, but from all of the campaigns looking to disrupt the establishment and to return power into the hands of the people.”
Kipper Central’s Editor, Darrell Goodliffe, added “As UKIP enters what is clearly a decisive phase of its political life, this merger presents Kipper Central and Alt-politics.com with a chance to come together and become the beating heart of a renewed and vibrant UKIP challenge to the bankrupt Westminster elite.”
