I think it is fair to say that all of us of a certain, right-wing, political disposition feel that, especially on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, that the burning gaze of the censors eye is never far from being on us. It seems perfectly ok for the likes of Momentum to spray manure and bile across the Internet but woe betide a right winger who has a critical word to say about Islam.
Nigel Farage is the latest high-profile victim of the ever-swinging censorious axe. A video posted on YouTube containing remarks Mr Farage made giving;
details of the growing number of Muslims living in the UK as well as shocking newspaper headlines about terrorism and images depicting the migrant crisis
has been removed after it was flagged as ‘hate speech’. It is an increasingly Orwellian world that we live in and in that sense the best advice to beat the censors is this;
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
As Alex Jones, of InfoWars fame, puts it, there is a war on for your mind and the Internet is the frontline.
