Star Anderton: Why I’m Backing Jane Collins & UKIP United
I am endorsing Jane Collins to lead UKIP through these troubling political times, our party is in a period of flux and if we do not have a leader who can unite us then I fear for the future of the party we have all worked hard to build. The last 14 months have seen our stars rise and fall dramatically because we won the vote to leave the EU. We are so much more than a one issue party and it would be a very sad day for democracy if UKIP were to be consigned to political history.
We are all weary with the Leadership elections and since Nigel stepped down we have had 2 leaders and currently, we have an interim leader. For our party to survive we need a leader who can take the slings and arrows and won’t buckle under pressure. Jane Collins has the qualities we need now to get us back into the media for the right reasons. Jane has the determination to succeed as the leader who brings UKIP back together.
Jane has worked tirelessly on some very serious issues especially with regard to the children who have been abused by paedophile groups in the Rotherham area. She did not bow to political correctness because that was the very reason why prosecutions were thin on the ground. She put her head above the parapet to make sure that people were truly aware of what has been happening to young vulnerable girls. I applaud all she has done to prevent further children being harmed by such paedophile gangs in the area.
Jane has the qualities we need in a leader she is tenacious, selfless, determined and she is UKIP to the core. She has faced many battles in her life and she never gives up, we need that never say die attitude at the top so that we can unite behind her and push our way back into the media with positive messages of hope. We can’t allow UKIP to fall by the wayside, the other parties will be praying for us to disappear because we force them to look at uncomfortable truths. With Jane at the helm she will make sure that the political elites keep being challenged in every possible way. The future of our party and all of the people who vote for us is in peril and right now the only way to prevent our party becoming an ex-political party is to trust Jane and her team with our vote. We do not want UKIP to be pushing up the daisies! I trust Jane to do the right thing and this is our chance to save the party many of us have lived and breathed for over the last 25yrs.
