BOLTON ON QUESTION TIME: National Socialist Sheridan Loses The Plot In Twitter Outburst
I am sure many Kippers were pleased to see, after a prolonged absence for UKIP, Henry Bolton on the Question Time last night. However, not everyone was as pleased. Tommy Sheridan, prominent national socialist [scottish nationalism combined with tartan tinged Marxism] was definitely not amused. He branded Henry’s appearance a “f***ing disgrace” on Twitter and hashtagged, perhaps borrowing from our rebranding of the BBC as the Brussels Broadcasting Corporation, his tweet ‘British Biased Corporation’.
The source of Tommy’s ire? UKIP’s apperance on the St Andrews Day edition of Question Time and no representative from the Scottish National Party “yet again”. He wasn’t the only one to get in a spin. Pro-independence blogger, James Kelly fumed:
“Just a reminder that the SNP have 35 seats, UKIP have zero and UKIP received fewer votes across the whole UK than the SNP did.”
Maybe so, but none of them are in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland, so, every time the BBC invite an SNP panellist they are empty-chairing three-quarters of the United Kingdom, an indisputable fact apparently lost in the nationalist haze of rage coming from Mr Kelly and Mr Sheridan.
However, and thankfully, it is a point that wasn’t lost on Conservative Josh Smith who retorted;
“UKIP haven’t been on in months. We have to suffer the SNP when it’s even in England.”
Let’s hope we see much more of Henry on Question Time and much less of Tommy’s temper tantrums!
