BREXIT BOMBSHELL: ECJ Jurisdiction For 10 YEARS!!!!
Apparently, according to tomorrow morning’s exclusive splash in The Sun, Theresa May has won a significant victory in the Brexit negotiations. The amount of time that the European Court of Justice will have jurisdiction over EU citizens rights in the UK will be time-limited……..to 10 YEARS!
Yes, you heard that right, 10 years, a decade. This is the mighty victory that Mrs May has allegedly won. Doesn’t sound like much does it? It isn’t. Dissent within the Conservative Party is reportedly reaching fever pitch. One DUP MP told The Sun:
We’ve got loads of Tories coming up to us saying ‘keep going, hang in there’. “Theresa’s problems aren’t with us, they’re with her own side.
Remoaning Conservative MPs have circulated a letter slamming their ‘highly irresponsible’ colleagues as the government continues to be paralysed by division.

Brexiteers within the Party are unlikely to be happy with the latest news regarding the ECJ. Jacob Rees Mogg has made it perfectly clear that ending the jurisdiction of the ECJ is one of his red lines and he has previously stated if it maintains its jurisdiction it will turn Britain into a “colony”.
Sir William Cash said:
Allowing the ECJ any role whatsoever is a mistake.
It will spread its tentacles, like ectoplasm, and end up ruling on all manner of things. That’s what it has done ever since 1956.
In reality, this is swiftly becoming the week that the mask slipped as Theresa The Appeaser desperately scrambles to get a deal at any cost.
UPDATE: Jean Claude Juncker says the EU Court will remain “competent” in regards to EU Citizens after Brexit. This means legally it WILL be able to exercise jurisdiction.
