WATCH: “Europe Has Become A DICTATORSHIP!”: Question Time Audience Member SLAMS EU & Theresa May
In a startling attack on the European Union last night, an audience member of the BBC’s Question Time program lambasted the EU as a “dictatorship” who are going to “take as much money as they can” from Britain post-Brexit.
The show, which was filmed in Grantham, featured panellists Justine Greening MP, John Mann MP, Jo Swinson MP, Miatta Fahnbulleh and Tim Stanley and saw many lively exchanges between them and the audience!
The audience member said: “I think the main problem she’s got is that she’s not delivering a clear message about Brexit. Nobody in Europe can understand what she wants.
“The British people voted, we know what we want!
“We want control of immigration, control of our own laws and we want to work with Europe but we don’t want to be dictated by Europe. Europe’s become a dictatorship!
Dimbly – the host – then asked him whether he thought Theresa May’s days are numbered, to which he said: “No, if she comes out with a clear message and whips them [her cabinet] all into line and they follow her.
“She needs to tell them [the EU] what we want because they don’t know what we want.
“They know what they want – they want our money and they want to keep us on the strings that we’re on at the minute!
“They’re not gonna give us anything. They’re gonna give us as little as they can get away with and take as much money as they can.”
