Foreign aid has got out of control. Stop it now and rethink.

‘Charity’s fine when all’s sublime’ ! Well things are not sublime, there not even acceptable, and should we come out of the mess that we are now in, a more sensible approach to ‘Charity’ has to be thought through !
Again we have sensible comment from Moggy, but his Party is running scared of having such a person in the Cabinet. I don’t understand such a view, and can only think that Cabinet members don’t want him to show them up !

When the aid goes to genuine people who need it OK but when it builds Palaces and pays for Mercedes and a grand life style of over indulgent armholes who abuse their own people SCRAPE it and give it to our Veterans who earn and deserve the help.

Jacob Rees-Mogg speaks only common sense and is one of the few honest and straight-talking British politicians of the present day (along with Nigel Farage).
If we reduced our present obscenely-huge foreign aid budget by 50%, think how many hospitals , schools, care homes and houses for low-income families we could build. Similarly, how many extra doctors, nurses, police officers, care workers and teachers could the country employ? There are not enough of any of the former at present, due to government under-funding. Why do countries like China, India and Pakistan need our tax-payers’ hard-earned money, especially when they spend billions on nuclear weapon and space research, while at the same time many of their own people live in poverty and are starving? In India and Pakistan child prostitutes go shoe-less and live on the streets. What are their own politicians doing to help their people and why haven’t these countries mad more progress?
