WATCH: “BORING! BORING! BORING!” – David Dimbleby SILENCES Remoaner Terry Christian
In a startling series of events last night, the BBC’s David Dimbleby was forced to silence Terry Christian when he refused to stop talking on Question Time.
Last night’s episode featured four remainers and just one Brexiteer; remainers Claire Perry MP, Emily Thornberry MP, Rachel Sylvester, Terry Christian and brexiteer Richard Tice.
Dimbley shouted “Boring! Boring! Boring!” over Terry Christian’s anti-Brexit outburst and received an overwhelming round of applause from the Darlington audience.

Remoaner Terry Christian said: “I remember you [Richard Tice] saying in 2015: ‘Brexit? Leaving the EU is simple!’ Everything’s simple when you’re a bit simple!
“The reality is a 16% drop over here is gonna cost something ridiculous like… is it… one in six jobs?
“The actual great recession of the 1930s was a 15% drop.”
In response to this, the remoaner received a huge round of boos from almost the entire audience who were disgusted that he made this comparison.
He continued: “You’re saying rubbish! Good luck with that one!
“Come and tell me again in a few years or 60 months’ time because you seem to be very hopeful but I don’t see any upside to it.
“So far the pound has tanked by 15% – is that a good sign?
However, he was then interrupted by brexiteer Richard Tice, who said: “In 50 years’ time, you come and join the celebration when we’ve got more manufacturing jobs in the North East, we’ve got Freeports and we’ve rebalanced the economy!”
Christian hit right back, saying: “Based on what findings? Is it based on that economist Patrick Minford?”
While he continued to spout his views, David Dimbleby interrupted him saying: “Alright, let’s stop! Stop, stop, stop, stop!”
He then chanted: “You’re getting boring! Boring, boring!
“If we’re gonna have an argument conducted like this, I can see why people get bored of the argument.”
