Farage and others went around lobbying European industry leaders last year in the hopes of persuading them to put pressure on their own governments in light of the hard stance taken by Junker, Barnier et el.

As I recall, he was saying its what all our politicians should be doing – as a way of ensuring a good deal to benefit all.

So what has our Government done in regards to ensuring a good deal for all concerned?

Nigel, I think we are on the same page as each other, and have the same regard to the Commissioners of the EU. Having voted to leave the EU, we seem to be stuck with a Government that is paid to do the shock-horror screaming, of Oh no ! – we have to make rearrangements for life itself !
We voted to leave ! So we leave. No divorce bill to pay as we were not married. No continuance of a Custom Union or any Trade Agreement. We Leave, and on WTO terms. We enter into the big wide world, with no EU encumbrance, and my guess is that we will do rather well. We even have some friends on the outside of this useless club ! JOB DONE !

Good idea, why did we not think if it before!

See if Brexiteer Economists will produce examples of what the costs to European businesses will be if we are forced to go to WTO rules.
We’re talking to the wrong people, the bureaucrats have no vested interests in making a good deal only in looking after their own interests like the rest of the remainers.
