Perhaps YI should look at less controversial speakers for their events. How about approaching the Veterans Richard Inman, they share our views and are now backing UKIP.

We are not falling into an Orwellian PC state. We ARE LIVING it. Even the once great Conway Halls has directors now too frightened of HNH’s black balaclava thugs to host right and alternative lectures. And clearly the police are not interested in stepping in.

NOW WE SEE WHAT LABOUR’S RED FLAG REALLY STANDS FOR ! It is also a shame that the venue has caved in on this, giving way to the ranks of the anti democratic, and anti free speech wasters ! HOW DECENT LABOUR VOTERS CAN CONTINUE TO GIVE SUPPORT TO THIS PARTY TODAY, IS BEYOND MY UNDERSTANDING !
I have never been known for having any accommodation for the p.c., and I would make a very bad diplomat, but even at my age, I have a wish to say BRING IT ON ! Hold the Conference in a public park, and be prepared, if necessary, to give these lefties what they crave and make it stick.
Of course, the Government and agencies for law and order, should back free speech and Democracy, but as we have seen, there is no point in holding our breath on this one. The craven attitude of Government is clear for all to see. Is it any wonder that the referendum vote went the way that it did ? We will not be dictated to by Brussels, nor give way to the bullies that are unelected by us. Now we seem to have the same domestically. I would have thought that this would have been accepted by the lefties, as well as us, but it seems I was wrong. They seem to stand for anything these days !
PS. We have some really bad takes on Law these days, so Young Independence need to treat with care any confrontations with these knuckle dragging lefties. It is too easy to be right, but at law, to be wrong !

Free speech has been cancelled in this country by Leftard thugs who are allowed to get away with it by a Leftard political elite that encourages them.

Forgive me if I sound a trifle naïve, but doesn’t this band of idiots making threats of violence surely constitutes a criminal offence? Then if there appears a likelihood of them following through on such threats, the police should be in attendance to assure public safety?
I once attended an EDL open meeting (only as an interested spectator) and there was, of course, a large number of chanting lefties baying for trouble. I’m sure, looking at the individuals’ faces, that both sides would have loved to break into a royal punch-up, but the police were there in number and they did a fantastic job in segregating the two extreme groups – but the EDL speakers successfully delivered their address to the crowd. Yes, there were cat-calls and chanting from both sides, but the police ensured no violence and after all, that’s their job, isn’t it?
