COLLABORATORS: Bill Etheridge MEP Asks ‘Which Side Is Labour On’?
Following the flip-flop by Labour over Customs Union membership and the revelation that Keir Starmer makes frequent trips to Brussels serious questions have to be asked about whose side the Labour Party is really on says West Midlands UKIP MEP Bill Etheridge.
It is essential that we leave the customs union in order to fully benefit from free trade from the 167 nations that are NOT in the European Union!
Keeping this country in the customs union is membership by another name and contrary to the Labour election manifesto which said the party would honour the result of the referendum.
“So they are not on the side of the country, in limiting its global opportunities. They are not on the side of the government, which is possibly understandable. They are not on the side of the people who voted for them, which is unforgivable.
The only side they are on is their own. They are just a bunch of self-serving hypocrites whose only aim, like most champagne socialists, is to jump on the gravy train that the EU offers.
Mr Etheridge’s comments came as a Labour MSP said that the splits within the Labour Party over Brexit were becoming “deeper by the day”.
