BREAKING: Martin Sellner BANNED From Entering UK As “Dangerous” Speech Might Offend Leftists
Prominent Generation Identity activist Martin Sellner has been barred from entering the UK, the British wing of Generation Identity have said in a statement.
Sellner was originally due to be speaking this evening at a Free Speech conference hosted by Young Independence, UKIP’s Youth Wing before it was cancelled following violent leftist threats.
However, refusing to admit defeat, Sellner had arranged to make his speech at the speaker’s corner on Sunday but was barred entry to the country on the grounds that his speech was too offensive.
The Generation Identity statement reads: “Yesterday, Martin Sellner and Brittany Pettibone were detained by the UK Government and effectively declared political dissidents.
“The government has decided that Martin’s talk about free speech is too dangerous to be heard.
“Don’t worry, some of our activists will be reading his speech at Speakers’ Corner at noon tomorrow in his stead.
“We can’t allow either the far left or the government to silence us!”
Speaking exclusively Kipper Central, Young Independence Events Officer George Pykov said: “It is an absolute outrage that the Government are openly restricting free speech in this country.
“What has happened to both Martin and Brittany is an affront to democracy itself. Speech can never be ‘too dangerous to be heard’, and the actions the Government has taken today is statism in its fullest form.
“You cannot just lock up those that you disagree with. I stand with Martin Sellner and Brittany Pettibone.”
