“Disgraceful!”: Telford Council BLASTED For Only ‘Considering’ Inquiry Into Abuse Scandal
Telford & Wrekin Council has said that it is ‘considering’ holding an independent inquiry into the town’s abuse scandal which has been described in the press as the ‘worst ever’ grooming gang scandal in Britain.
The announcement follows news that the Westminster government will not hold an inquiry into the latest of many rape scandals; a scandal which has been widely ignored by MPs with but one or two exceptions.
However, the council have stated that the inquiry “would not give victims answers” and that it could cost the local people “millions” despite achieving little.
They had argued that a government-led inquiry would achieve far more than anything their “independent expert inquiry” could and that it would be a far better use of money.

Despite the council’s pessimism, the local Conservative MP Lucy Allan said that it is “essential for an independent inquiry to be held as soon as possible” and that this would not cost the millions that the local authorities are suggesting it could.
She continued: “The Rotherham Inquiry cost £123,000 – whilst Telford & Wrekin Council may choose to put in place something more extensive, there is clearly no requirement for them to spend the ‘millions’ they referred to.”
A spokesman for Telford and Wrekin Council said: “We have to be absolutely clear on all the options available.
“We have to look at the legal, financial and practical implications of an independent expert inquiry.
“We want to deliver the strongest possible inquiry and the best outcomes for victims.”
Speaking exclusively to Kipper Central about the announcement, Young Independence Chairman Nathan Ryding hit out at the decision, saying:: “The fact that they have used the word “considering” is disgraceful! How dare they “consider” investigating this level of abuse?
“Up to 1000 girls have been raped, tortured and killed and this council has completely let these girls and their families down in the name of political correctness!
“We must end this nonsense now!”
