“Wanted To Kill Herself”: Paedophile Given ONLY 4 Years In Prison After Abusing 8-Year-Old
A family in Greenock, Scotland has been “ripped apart” after their 8-year-old daughter was abused by close family friend and fellow churchgoer Gordon Ramsay.
After Ramsay was sentenced to just 4 years in prison for the abuse, the mother said that such a short punishment was an insult to her and her family; particularly her 8-year-old daughter who wants to kill herself as a result of the abuse.
The mother of two daughters who were both abused by Ramsay has spoken out to describe the man as the “devil incarnate”, saying that he has destroyed the victims’ childhoods.
Ramsay, 46, received his 4-year sentence after abusing the 8-year-old, her sister and another young girl for almost 10 years.
The mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has revealed that as the man was jailed, she looked at him across the courtroom and mouthed: “I hope you suffer every day of your life.”
She said: “My eight-year-old is so traumatised by what happened that she said she wants to kill herself.
“He’s an evil monster who has destroyed both of my girls’ innocence.
“We would go to church and everyone thought he was a decent and respectable bloke.
“Now I know he was the complete opposite – to me, he is the devil incarnate.
“He’s ripped our family apart and robbed both girls of their childhood. It’s a complete nightmare that’s never going to leave them.”
The mother added that she wasn’t aware in the slightest that any abuse was going on until her youngest daughter opened up and spoke to her about it.
The mother described: “I had come home from work and my daughter, who was seven at the time, said, ‘I don’t like it when he touches me there’.
“She showed me and my heart sank. I was in total shock and asked if it had ever happened before and she said several times.
“She said he had even touched her that morning while I was at work.
“When I found out, the rage just tore through me. I went into the kitchen and picked up a pair of scissors. If he had come through the door at that point, God only knows what would have happened.
“I’ve never felt anger like that in my life. Just knowing he had touched my daughter made my blood boil.”
Following her daughter telling her the extent of the horrific abuse, she took the girl to the police, where she was given a very painful medical examination.
But the mother’s eldest daughter then also came forward to speak to her about how she too had been abused by “evil” Ramsay.
The mother added: “This was a man they had doted on and he’d hurt them in the worst possible way. The police took away underwear and bed sheets for forensic testing.
“I had no idea what he was doing, I thought he was the perfect man. Never in a million years did I think he was capable of something like this.
“He’s shown no remorse and has no idea of the damage he’s caused. Both my girls are struggling to cope.
“No mother wants to see her kids in pain and what he’s done is beyond sick.
“There were no warning signs, no reason to ever doubt him.”
A third girl from another family later also came forward to speak out about how Ramsay had abused her at a young age, making this case even more disturbing.
Ramsay abused the elder sister while she was aged between 7 and 9 between June 2008 and November 2010, and the younger sister in October 2016 when she was just 8 years old.
The third child was repeatedly molested between December 2010 and October 2013.
Before eventually pleading guilty, Ramsay denied to the police that he had done anything wrong and denied all accusations of the abuse.
The mother of the two abused sisters went on to say: “He looked at me in court and I could tell he was feeling sorry for himself. He’s incapable of remorse.
“As he was being led away in handcuffs, I looked at him and mouthed, ‘I hope you suffer every day of your life’.
“He will be out in a few years, yet my girls have to live with what he has done to them forever.
“It sickens me to think that he could do this to another family and that’s why I have chosen to speak out.
“I want every parent to look at the pictures of this pervert and never allow him near their children.
“He’s a dangerous man and I don’t think jail will change him one bit.”
She added: “The entire process has been draining. We are shattered by it. There’s a lack of support for victims and I’ve been left to pick up the pieces.
“Ramsay was out on bail for a year-and-a-half and my girls were worried in case they bumped into him in the street.
“He will have the chance to start a new life when he’s released but I hope everyone remembers his face and he never worms his way into another family’s circle.”
Speaking about how the abuse had affected her, the mother said: “This has pushed me to the edge of a nervous breakdown and now I’m scared to let the girls out of my sight.
“He’s ruined so many lives.”
