FERRARI V SOUBRY: LBC Host SLAMS “Split Already” Remoaner Campaign
Anna Soubry MP has been doing the media rounds to promote the Remoaning ‘Peoples Vote’ campaign which calls for a referendum on the final Brexit deal. This morning she was the guest of Nick Ferrari on LBC. Mr Ferrari demanded to know why the campaign was not being packaged as effectively a call for a second referendum as this is what it amounts too.
Ms Soubry responded:
“I think in all of this debate I think some of us get a bit tired of people telling us what we think.
My view is that we should have a second vote on the deal specifically on the deal.

But we are an extremely small team each putting in several hours a day to keep you up to date with what's really going on.
Sadly, we also have our own lives which take up time and ultimately require a source of income.
Any support you can give, however small, will go a very long way to keeping Kipper Central's coverage of the news nobody else will touch!

My own view is, and this is not shared by everybody.”
Before she could finish, however, Mr Ferarri said that this proved that the campaign was “split already”. The Broxtowe MP responded by bemoaning “polarisation” in the country which she implicitly blamed on the Brexit referendum. Peoples Vote has strong financial backing from Remoaning groups, nine pro-Remain groups have already pledged £1million to fund the campaign.
Numerous attempts have been made to subvert the outcome of the 2016 referendum however public opinion has remained solid. A recent YouGov poll found only 20% of those asked want a second referendum.
