EXPOSED: Labour Links To Lewisham Hustings Shut Down
AltNewsMedia carries a report today linking the disruption of the Lewisham East hustings to a prominent local Labour Party activist. William Miles, a youth officer in the Perry Vale branch of Lewisham West Labour is named as one of the protestors who clashed with police and obstructed residents who were trying to enter the Salvation Army building to ask questions of candidates in the lead-up to the Lewisham East by-election.
Mr Miles is also named as one of the admins of the Lewisham West and Penge Facebook page and described in the report as having “thuggish” tendencies. AltNewsMedia was passed the information by “shocked” leader in the local community who was passing by the scene of the blockade of the hustings.
In addition you may well remember that Janet Daby, the new Labour MP for Lewisham East actively encouraged the blockade in an email she wrote to the organisers of the hustings which was leaked to Kipper Central. Serious questions now have to be asked about the involvement of figures within the Labour Party in promoting anti-democratic behaviour and seeking to subvert the democratic process.
