DELUDED: Diane Abbott Claims “Only Labour” Can Fix Britain’s Immigration Mess
Labour’s Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott, writing in The Guardian, has claimed that only the Labour party can fix the immigration “mess” created in Britain by the Tories.
Describing attempts to decrease immigration to below 100,000 net a year as “nonsensical”, Abbott claimed Theresa May had “encouraged a permanent campaign against migrants”.
Mrs Abbott went on to praise new Home Secretary Sajid Javid’s work to remove the most “outlandish” elements of government policy, but argued that the “hostile environment” policy remains.
Interestingly, the Hackney MP says “Naturally, migrants here illegally should be removed”, despite being unable to set out a policy in relation to illegal immigrants 6 times during an interview with Piers Morgan earlier this year.

Ending her article on a hint as to Labour’s specific immigration policy, Abbott wrote: “In a speech next month, I will set out Labour’s immigration policy, one which is not rooted in a hostile environment.
“It will recognise our legal obligations. We want migrants to come here who will benefit us all, whether they are doctors, nurses or seasonal agricultural workers.
“And when they come, we will treat them and their families with humanity and respect.”
