Kipper Central Statement 31-10-17

We are pleased to announce that today Kipper Central will be re-opening, better than ever before!

Reece Coombes will remain as Owner/Founder and will run the technical and business side of things, and Darrell Goodliffe has been appointed Editor-In-Chief and will oversee the day-to-day running of the site and content.

Reece said “I am extremely pleased that we have been able to bring Kipper Central back, with a much-improved structure and plan. Kipper Central will be keeping our Pro-UKIP spirit while also being editorially independent from the party, which is something I’ve always been proud of. I am confident in Darrell and the team and that we will quickly get back to thousands of daily views and making the same impact we were before.

“I went away camping shortly after our previous announcement and I was astounded by how many messages, emails, texts and comments I’d recieved when I returned expressing sadness at this decision. Indeed, many had offered to take over or offer their help. If those people are still willing to pay a part in Kipper Central, please do get in touch! I just couldn’t keep the site shut after reading all of these, and I am so pleased that we’ve got an arrangement that will mark a new era of success for our site.”

Darrell said “It has been a tumultuous few weeks for UKIP and indeed Kipper Central. The successes it has recently enjoyed were, as they were for Reece, an achievement that I am exceptionally proud to have played a part-in.

“When it closed, I was, of course, sad that this big part of my life was something I was losing however, it was ultimately Reece’s to do with as he pleased and I fully understood and supported his reasoning. However, needless to say, I am exceptionally delighted and thankful for the opportunity that I have been given to take Kipper Central forward and would like to thank alongside Reece and Martin, you the reader who have made this such a special journey to be a part of and were so kind in your comments last week.

“Without further ado let me outline the direction of travel I intend to steer this ship on. I don’t think it is unfair to say that part of the success of Kipper Central was down to the fact that me and Reece were so often on the same page. In that regard I intend to keep the faith with his vision for KC. It will remain a UKIP-Supporting though editorially independent blog. We would like a relationship with UKIP based on mutual respect and reciprocity.

“In terms of staffing, I am delighted to announce Martin Hollingworth is duly reappointed as Deputy Editor. Martin has been a tremendous asset to the editorial team since his appointment, providing KC with inspiration and high-quality articles. I am also pleased to announce Abigail Eatock will also be joining the editorial team as Deputy Editor. Abigail is a well established Kipper Central writer and she is passionate about its success. I look forward to working with both Martin and Abigail as Kipper Central enters a new and exciting phase of its growth.

“And that, as they say, is that, at least for now, all that remains is for me to once again thank Reece and you the reader and look forward with optimism to an exciting future for Kipper Central.”

Support Kipper Central

Kipper Central is here to spread the real news with the British and global public, without political correctness and without lies.
However, we are an extremely small team each putting in several hours a day, despite none of us having full-time jobs.
We, therefore, rely on the kind support of our readers to keep reporting on the stories that nobody else will and to keep promoting what is truly happening in Britain and across the world.

Reece Coombes

As a 16-year-old member of UKIP with a cardboard Nigel Farage cut-out in his bedroom, Reece is hardly your bog-standard student, but he cherishes his independent thinking as his greatest strength. Reece is the founder and owner of Kipper Central, a UKIP community blog with thousands of daily hits and is also the Deputy Chairman of Young Independence, UKIP's youth wing, where he works hard to promote Brexit and radical thinking to young people across Britain.
