WATCH: “Not The Point!” – Henry Bolton DODGES Questions About Relationship With Jo Marney

Speaking on the Andrew Marr show this morning, UKIP Leader Henry Bolton said that whether or not he is still in a relationship with Jo Marney is ‘not the point’.

Next Saturday, Mr Bolton will face the members of his party at an Extraordinary General Meeting and put forward his case as to why he should remain leader.

However, his many inconsistencies in relation to his series of events with girlfriend Jo Marney and her racist, abhorrent views are likely to steer a lot of party members against him for their vote.

Andrew Marr said to Henry: “You’re still in touch, aren’t you?

“You were seen with her on Tuesday so this is a relationship which is live.”

He responded: “Yeah but that’s not the point Andrew. The point is that I am the leader of a policial party that brought about the referendum, that was partly instrumental in bringing that result.

“We have a responsibility to the British people to project politics into the debate to shape the future of this country.”

He’s on the record saying his leadership is incompatible with a relationship with Ms Marney – isn’t it?

I imagine most kippers won’t be taken in by this dissembling and come to the opinion he can’t lead UKIP

  2. This is precisely the point. The message he needs to be getting over about Brexit is being overshadowed by questions about his private life. And since he appears to have no intention of breaking with Marney that is not going to change.

HOW CAN I MAKE THIS POINT CLEAR ? I am not bloody interested in Henry Bolton’s libido, or his sex life, or in him ! He has shown clearly that he lies. – We have enough MPs to do that, and it would be rather nice to have UKIP clear of that sort of person. He is blameless of everything, as it is always someone else who is at fault ! JUST GET RID OF HIM NOW !

It struck me that after this interview Marr then had Soubry and Ummuna to interview. Their anti- Brexit views went unchallenged by Marr or by a pro Brexit guest. This would have been the opportunity for Bolton to go head to head with them. But no it was a wasted chance because Bolton’s personal life was the only thing Marr was interested in. UKIP had been neutered and smeared in one easy BBC stroke. I was livid at the BBC and Bolton.
