UKIP Leader Gerard Batten To Visit Gloucester Next Week

UKIP Interim Leader Gerard Batten will be speaking at a UKIP Gloucester Meeting next Tuesday, 20th March in one of his first large events in his position.

Speaking alongside Gerard will be Young Independence Deputy Chairman & Kipper Central Owner Reece Coombes and UKIP SME Spokesman Ernie Warrender.

Taking place at the Gloucester Guildhall, the meeting is set to start at 7pm and will be followed by a buffet with Gerard.

You can book your tickets to the public meeting and buffet here. They’re selling out fast so be sure to grab yours soon!

Gerard is likely to be leader of the party until early May, by which point his 90-day limit as interim leader will have expired.

However, it is rumoured that he will be standing in the upcoming leadership election on a platform of stability and much-needed solid leadership.

Support Kipper Central

Kipper Central is here to spread the real news with the British and global public, without political correctness and without lies.
However, we are an extremely small team each putting in several hours a day, despite none of us having full-time jobs.
We, therefore, rely on the kind support of our readers to keep reporting on the stories that nobody else will and to keep promoting what is truly happening in Britain and across the world.

Reece Coombes

As a 16-year-old member of UKIP with a cardboard Nigel Farage cut-out in his bedroom, Reece is hardly your bog-standard student, but he cherishes his independent thinking as his greatest strength. Reece is the founder and owner of Kipper Central, a UKIP community blog with thousands of daily hits and is also the Deputy Chairman of Young Independence, UKIP's youth wing, where he works hard to promote Brexit and radical thinking to young people across Britain.

So interim leader allowed to stand why not extend his coronation.

I trust that the Gloucester meeting, headed by Gerard, has been thought through. Here in Northampton, we well remember a planned visit by Nigel Farage, that did not take place, due to actions taken by those who have a dislike of free speech ! It is such a shame that opposition to UKIP is not conducted by people with ability to give counter argument, and instead resort to threats of violence. Maybe our truth is what they have a problem with !

    Hi Mike

The Gloucester meeting will definitely be taking place. We also hosted a meeting with Nigel back in 2015 which 1.500 attended — one of the best attended of Nigel’s pre Referendum meetings anywhere in the country.

We have security in place so I would encourage all those who are able to do so to attend by visiting http://www.ukipgloucester.co.uk We would love to welcome you to our beautiful Cathedral city.

There will be ample opportunity to ask questions from the floor in the Public Meeting at Gloucester Guildhall or to meet Gerard in person at the Brexit Buffet at the Old Bell.

Gloucester is ideally situated with good road and rail connections to most of the UK and is easily accessible from Northampton and from throughout the Midlands.

I just joined UKIP after seeing Tommy Robinsons video meeting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bjks3fmajM at the House of Lords. I did however get the impression that if Tommy were also to join that he would be directly BARRED as the form wants confirmation that you have not been a member of the EDL Tommy Formed it and left when it became obvious that far right people were taking it over… Would you consider letting him join if he wanted to?
