GAGGED: Reporting Restrictions Slapped On Tommy’s Appeal

Yesterday reporting restrictions were placed on Tommy Robinson’s appeal hearing as you can see below:

So, another great victory for free speech courtesy of the British establishment and the ‘independent’ judiciary. Restrictions were imposed on the original trial of Mr Robinson where he was jailed for 13 months for contempt of court, however, these were eventually lifted following a challenge spearheaded by The Independent newspaper.

Little more can be said other than that we can clearly see that once again the establishment has shown itself to be an enemy of the people and of free speech which in truth terrifies the British government lest its shadiness be duly exposed. This whole case makes a mockery of any claim we have a right to free speech in the U.K.

UPDATE: It has become apparent that the reporting restrictions apply to the aspects of Tommy’s case directly connected to the case he was reporting on.

We need to get this widely publicised. How about asking Paul Joseph Watson to take it up he has well over 1 million subscribers to his Prison Planet channel.

I seem to remember that ”Justice must be done, and be seen to be done.” Am I so old fashioned that holding on to this quote, puts me into a minority ? ………. This whole Tommy Robinson affair stinks to high heaven, and I would have thought that our Courts, as well as our Government, would have ensured transparency at all costs. Perhaps the stink is so bad, they dare not make a show of it, and they are willing to let National Contempt of Court take root in order to save Government / Individuals blushes ! ? !

Well, Tommy called one of his earlier books “Enemy of the State” and clearly he is a bigger enemy in the eyes of the State than muslim rabble-rousing scum such as Anjem Choudry who mouthed off anti-British sedition for years before they locked him up for a derisory length of time. Same with that hook-handed, one-eyed Ham or whatever he was called, preaching hate and destruction. How long did it take Treason May to get shut of him? – at least a decade. Yet Tommy Robinson’s feet hardly touched the ground as soon as they had the flimsiest excuse to nab him, and his case is being treated as if he’s a top secret dangerous terrorist.
Meanwhile, there are thousands of real muslim terrorists skulking about in this country waiting for an opportunity to kill more British citizens and the cultural jihad goes on apace. The stupidity and malice of the ruling elite now is beyond satire. We live in a fascist police state.

    To Pamela Preedy
I can’t agree enough with what you’ve said. I never thought I’d see the day when the Establishment of the country, the judiciary, the police and the government aped the shadiest of behaviour by the late Soviet Union. When are we going to see the show trials? I guess it won’t be long. To say that I Ioathe the hierarchies of both the main political parties is an understatement. Mrs May hasn’t the guts of a Margaret Thatcher or the doggedness of a Winston Churchill. She has all the hallmarks of a vicar’s daughter, vaccilating, indecisive and timid. Tommy Robinson is being used as a convenient scapegoat and we have the toadying Diane Abbott criticising ordinary people such as Tommy Robinson fir being ‘racist’. She’s the biggest racist bigot around and completely intolerant of anyone who has a different opinion to herself.

      GREAT Britain A.D. 2018.
A gentleman who exposed Child abuse cover-ups was then subject to a “sustained and ongoing campaign by the Metropolitan Police to silence him” that tells me one thing and one thing only just what is the extent of child sex taking place in this country and how high within the establishments does this Child abuse in this country extend?

      • MIKE MAUNDER says:

Miss Bridgit, you probably saw the same item that I did. The Gent was in the Met, and was ‘encouraged’ to keep quiet, but he didn’t ! My opinion is that we have some real perverts around the top of our ‘Authorities’.

tommy is simply a reaction to the shite the british people have had pushed upon them, what has tommy said that is untrue , why is it improper to object to islamic radicals, terrorrists and grooming pedos.

just because tommy doesnt does not speak like jrm or douglas murray does not mean what he say’s is any less true

ukip needs to embrace the tommy’s of this country.

those who object to tommy are in denial about what is happening in this country or frankly are prepared to accept the damage to other people for the own end goals , these people need to be called out

  6. Terry Spedding says:

I do not believe that Tommy Robinson is a criminal but I believe he has been criminalised to the same extent as Melanie Shaw, the suffragettes, Nelson Mandella and more. If the authorities Spent as much time harrassing Islamic fundamentalists as the have Tommy Robinson our streets would be a whole lot safer. it is not hard to see that the police want Tommy gone as he has become a secondary problem, a thorn in their side by exposing the primary problem of Islamic fundamentalism and the baggage that carries, including the institutionalised rape of vulnerable children on an industrial scale which police and authorities have in the past turned a blind eye to and only now addressing the tip of the iceberg so to speak. I applaud Tommys bravery and only hope that he has remaining courage to carry on exposing these crimes. I am not, right wing , extremist, fascist. I am just an objector to these heinous acts which is automatically branded with these labels by the police and authorities.
