TOMMY ROBINSON: Veterans Against Terrorism Welcome “Tremendous Asset” To UKIP

Veterans Against Terrorism, a leading organisation in the patriotic movement for free speech and highlighting the danger of political Islam released a statement this morning in support of the desire of Tommy Robinson to join UKIP.

The statement said: “The leadership of VAT formed a strategic alliance with UKIP earlier this year after meeting with the party leadership and other senior figures in the party, Including Lord Pearson and Gerard Batten.

“The leadership shared our concerns about Islamic supremacists, Jihadists and rape gangs, we all agreed that Islamic supremacy and political Islam is the main long-term strategic threat to the UK. VAT began to promote and join UKIP and many senior figures in the party shared platforms with the veterans.

“We attended numerous demos together to protest against terror, rape gangs, for freedom of speech and justice for Northern Ireland veterans. The idea behind the alliance is to make UKIP more attractive to the British working class who have been betrayed by labour and ignored by the Tories. This partnership has worked extremely well and a number of veterans have joined UKIP and become active in their branches. We believe the next logical step in the process of bringing UKIP to a whole new working class demographic is to invite the most high profile counter Jihad activist in the world into the UKIP fold, that man is, of course, Tommy Robinson.

“VAT understand that because of internal party rules about membership of the EDL and other internal party issues, that bringing Tommy in is not a straightforward process. That said we believe at this crucial time in the history of our country and UKIP that these hurdles must be overcome and Tommy is welcomed to UKIP in a manner that works for him, allowing him to pursue his successful journalistic and media career and support the party at the same time. If Tommy comes into the UKIP fold he will be a tremendous asset to the party with his boundless energy and personal charisma and the party will offer Tommy political guidance counsel and hopefully protection from state and Islamist persecution. So, in a nutshell, we at VAT support a partnership between Tommy and UKIP, we believe both parties will benefit and the country will eventually be saved from calamity as a result of the huge amount of support that will surge to UKIP if Tommy comes on board. This statement is agreed by the leadership of VAT (Simon Bean Mbe, Dan McDevitt, Richard Inman and Sean Smart) and the committee of the VAT.”

Yesterday, we reported that UKIP Branches have begun passing motions urging the Chairman, Tony McIntyre to allow a debate on Mr Robinson’s membership at the Party’s Annual Conference which will begin a week today on Friday 21st September and mark the 25th Anniversary of the foundation of UKIP. It is still unclear whether these calls will be heeded or not with some speculation that the issue may be put to a vote of the entire membership of UKIP.

Thanks Darrell, and needless to say, I support totally Tommy Robinson’s wish to join UKIP. In fact I am rather disconcerted that this membership question is taking up the time that it has. – I had no idea that we had a significant group that could bar this guy’s membership request, with the idea of making our Party into just an audience to British politics. I want to see UKIP actively fighting Lib/Lab/Con, and we wont see that if the Party does not become more inclusive !

Well said Veterans Against Terror. UKIP needs Tommy Robinson.

All Kippers should view the interview between Ezra Levant and TR recently released on U Tube. It is very compelling, revealing as it does the deep corruption within our prison system as it does, and also portraying TR as the very brave and principled patriot that he is. It is long, but worth viewing all through.
What a terrible indictment of the criminal complacency of our political leaders, locally and nationally, and what a vindication of TR’s battle to make Islamist gang rapine known and exposed.

Very Compelling viewing, very moving and challenging. Its long but worth seeing right through in my opinion. Do find some time to pray for this brave patriot.
If it was not for TR the horrific revelations about the rape of hundreds of our girls and women would never have come to light. As also the corruption within our whole prison system as TR reveals in the interview. This is a MUST view and a profoundly disturbing revelation

I will try again for the THIRD TIME to post this comment (why does it not appear after posting on this site?)

The issue of one person being made an exception cannot be dealt with in isolation. It requires a rule change as it would be very unfair to others who may wish to join if an exception is made for one person because of his high level exposure in the media.

    • MIKE MAUNDER says:

Total agreement with you Geoffrey. Also I took membership of UKIP for it to be a Government, not a prim little group on the sidelines of politics. The Party has to become far more inclusive if it is going to be a main player in this country !

  7. Graham Wood says:

Geoffrey. Whilst I agree with your comment as a general principle I strongly feel that in the person of TR an exception to that rule should be made. I think Gerard Batten mentioned that it would be a unique and single exception .
You say “because of his high exposure in the media”. I do not believe that is actually the case, in fact precisely the opposite if you mean the MSM which has very pointedly sought to ignore him at nearly every opportunity!
That is why Rebel Media (Ezra Levant) and Breitbart, as alternative platforms have given TR opportunity to make his case.
Did you see his interview with Ezra on U Tube?
