Salvini And Le Pen Pledge To Fight “Totalitarian” EU

One factor that will define and shape the 2019 European Elections is the growing pan-European cooperation between populist, anti-EU Parties. The news conference held recently by Matteo Salvini, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister and Marine Le Pen, leader of the French National Rally Party showed how that is cohering into a solid anti-EU bloc.

Salvini, who has had many firey clashes with Brussels Eurocrats, stated plainly “The enemies of Europe are those, who are entrenched in the Brussels bunker.” He went on to directly attack the EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and EU Economics Commissioner Pierre Moscovici, two Eurocrats that he has regularly targeted with verbal volleys as they try to impose a Budget settlement on Italy. He called them “the enemies of the European people and the happiness of the European people” and said that they have “brought precariousness and fear into Europe but still refuse to leave their thrones.”

Le Pen hailed a ‘historic moment’: “We are today at a historic moment. This is history with a capital ‘H’ that will be written in May 2019. It will be the emergence of a Europe of nations, a Europe of respect, a Europe of protection.”

Both said that they want to save Europe from itself and reclaim it for its people.

Really good to see this happening. If we had still got UKIP MEPs in Brussels, Nigel Farage would have kept UKIP away from Le Pen and Salvini.
Why does Nigel Farage support Islam? Who is Nigel Farage really working for?
Nigel Farage knows that the Labour Party is the party all Muslims are told to vote for by their Imams.
The Labour Party is the Party of Islam.
Muslims do what their Imams tell them to do.
Muslims do not do what Nigel Farage tells Muslims to do.
Why did Nigel Farage begin Islamising UKIP in 2014 when Nigel Farage knew Muslims would not be voting UKIP?
Did Nigel Farage deliberately start Islamising UKIP in 2014 in order to divide and destroy UKIP?

Malcolm, I’m from another country in Europe – imprisoned in the EU dictatorship, and I’m confused by your comment about Farage!?
I have always thought that Farage is for UKIP, for Brexit, against islam in Europe, against a corrupt Brussels and etc. – so where/how does your bulletpoints above come into play?
    I’m missing something I guess?
I love what UKIP has grown into – very pleased with the sober and factual leadership!
Leave now – no deal – they’ll all come forward doing trade with Britain – as everyone has traded for centuries – before the Common Market, aka today’s EU, destroyed everything!

Farage has always run away from the subject of Islam and the impact it has on small town communities in the UK. His views on Tommy Robinson are testament to that. In general yes he is fighting for Brexit but his ultimate ambition is to be part of a conservative government that is out of the EU.

Actually i am now wondering who Nigel Farage is? He was supported by many people…But now seems to be agreeing more and more with the media? against people like Tommy Robinson who is NOT a racist and is standing up for the people which N Farage Used to do!!! why is he not sticking up for a man who is for his Country. This is bewildering to me…He knows he is NOT WITH EDL and left because he did not like the way it was going. So that proves he is not a racist. I do not trust N Farage much now.?
Can anyone tell me why i have to keep signing in with my name and email every time i make a comment? If i am already receiving emails?

  4. Geoffrey Bastin says:

Why do we in UKIP not realise what the general public will not tolerate. In the US when the President proposes someone to be a top Judge the place goes nuts because some woman suddenly realises he touchéd her knickers over thirty years ago. The same goes for umpteen women who may or may not have a valid grievance but they leave it very late to complain.
So we have Tommy Robinson who has a string of offences against his name from GBH to mortgage fraud to use of a forged passport and is currently awaiting trial for contempt of court and some people believe he is a suitable chap to receive special attention from UKIP.
He is welcome to support UKIP but we should not be falling over backwards to accommodate him. He is an internet journalist and like other journalists he is free to speak and write as he pleases but we don’t need to usurp the party’s rules and welcome such a chap into the UKIP fold unless we wish to prevent numerous people from other parties voting for us next time.
