MAY’S CONFERENCE CALL: Tory Chairman Kicked Out Of Number 10 Conference Call
Theresa May hosted a conference call earlier today in a desperate attempt to sell her deal to the Tory grassroots. However, not all were welcome.
Been cut off from @theresa_may conference call, just after giving my question to researcher. Maybe she couldn’t give me answer on why she’s not prepared to leave EU without a deal in the eventuality of bill not getting votes in Commons…🤔 #StandUp4Brexit @StandUp4Brexit @LBC

She has a long way to go. The first polling that has taken place since the deal was announced has shown that the public heavily oppose the deal. Survation found that 49% ‘totally oppose’ the deal while only 27% totally support the deal. Furthermore, only 25% supported the Prime Ministers stated view that the deal respects the result of the referendum with 35% disagreeing and backing both the Brexiteer and increasingly the stated Remoaner view that it does not respect the referendum result. A majority of those surveyed backed Jacob Rees-Moggs stated view that the next Conservative leader should be a Brexiteer – 54% of the public agree with this (including 68% of Conservative voters).
