Rees-Mogg AXED From Conservative Fundraising Dinner

In an act of what can only be described as petty personal spite from our embattled Prime Minister, Jacob Rees-Mogg has been unceremoniously axed from a Party fundraising dinner. Guests received an email which said: “Unfortunately Jacob Rees-Mogg will no longer be joining the dinner on Tuesday evening. But the new secretary of state for exiting the EU, the Rt Hon Stephen Barclay MP, will attend in his place. Please could you let me know as soon as possible if you would still like to attend the dinner.”

Clearly, no one told Mr Rees-Mogg who tweeted:

He obviously did not pull out but it was presumably spun that way by CCHQ who couldn’t possibly be seen to be axing a guest purely because he does not support the Prime Minister.

Rees-Mogg said on Monday that: “What we are seeing from this Government is a deliberate decision not to deliver a proper Brexit. We have a Government led by Remainers who want to keep us tied into the EU as tightly as possible.”

Fair enough, completely accurate and what UKIP and Gerard Batten have been saying for some time but not what Treason May wants to hear as she tries to paint herself in red, white and blue Brexit colours., especially not at the dinner table it would seem.

‘Please could you let me know as soon as possible if you would still like to attend the dinner.’ I hope that most people will reply, no thanks as we were looking forward to hearing Jacob speak and who is Stephen Barclay?

I find this to be sad as well as funny ! It is the sort of move one would expect from a Mickey Mouse Government, and there I think you have it in capitals ! It is worth noting that an ultra Tory like Moggy, is better liked by the people, than Mrs May. Also worthy of note is the sight of Mrs May as the shepherd, in charge of her sheep. ( All brain dead and ready to lose their seats ) !

Seems May has made it the nasty/spiteful party again

  7. Nigel Ely says:

Honestly, who cares! I’m sick of these Tory cowards and this traitor in particular. All talk no action and will ALWAYS put party before country. UKIP should be ripping this critter a new one!

Just turn up Moggy. wander around and find a seat. See how she likes that.

Its testament to how petty she is, and how deceptive her tactics are.
I will also make you a prediction, that there wont be anybody at that dinner that isnt in receipt of government grace and favour. It would be good if we could get a guest list so we can boycott there companies.
See where your ” I fully support the Prime minister” policy has got you Jacob, time to check the wheel nuts on your car . Welcome to the deplorables

May is a nasty creature who should have been ejected 2 years ago. Sadly the tories lack a spine. My fear is this evil woman will be voted back in.
