Media BLACKOUT As Tommy Robinson Crowdfunds Wheelchair For 7-Year-Old With Cerebral Palsy
Tommy Robinson’s supporters have funded a new £23,000 electronic wheelchair for Daisy, a soldier’s daughter suffering with cerebral palsy, as well as £13.5k towards cancer treatment for a military mum – but not one mainstream media outlet has even mentioned the tremendous charity success.
In November last year, Tommy Robinson launched a crowdfunder to buy a new electronic wheelchair for Daisy, the 7-year-old daughter of a member of the British armed forces, who suffers with cerebral palsy.
The fundraiser, launched by Tommy in partnership with The Rebel, raised a total of £45,487, £22,000 more than they asked for!
In a heartwarming video posted across social media, Tommy helps Daisy unwrap the best Christmas present she could ever wish for, and sees her move about freely by herself for the first time in her life.
Tommy refuses to take the credit for Daisy’s new gift and says his supporters are the ones who deserve the praise.
“I am blessed to be in a position to meet such a beautiful young girl,” Tommy told Kipper Central, “it’s not me who changed her life, but my support base!
“She’s a beautiful young girl with a beautiful family. Thank you to Daisy’s amazing military family – mum and military dad – for everything you’ve done for our country!
“Thank you, everyone, for giving me the opportunity to present Daisy with such an incredible gift for Christmas!”
After buying Daisy’s new wheelchair, Tommy looked for another British military family in need of desperate help, and he found Kelly Dimmock, an ex-military mum-of-two whose husband still serves in the armed forces.
Kelly is suffering from stage 4 terminal cancer which has spread across her body, and the NHS are unable to treat her. She needed to raise tens of thousands of pounds in order to fund private treatment in Germany, so Tommy & Daisy gave £13,593 towards the cost.
With a small amount left over, Tommy chose to give Daisy something else she’d never had before – a holiday! And not just any holiday; Daisy and her family are going to Disneyland!
Despite Tommy’s supporters’ extraordinary generosity towards Daisy and Kelly, not one mainstream media outlet covered the huge fundraiser, nor did any local news outlet.
